Recap of the First Edition of the Event Impact Awards

  • October 15, 2025

The Event Industry Will Not Escape the Transition. And That’s a Good Thing.

But this transition will not happen through mandates or trends. It will happen because some people take it on with courage, clarity, and commitment.

To celebrate these pioneers — the builders of a more responsible events sector — Climeet and Produrable launched the first edition of the Event Impact Awards on October 9, 2025, in Paris.

Why the Event Impact Awards?

Organized in partnership with Produrable, these awards aim to highlight agencies, brands, and service providers who are reinventing how to design and produce more sustainable events.

Behind every awarded project lies the same belief: events can be a powerful lever for ecological and social transformation.

These awards showcase concrete, inspiring, and replicable initiatives that prove a low-carbon event is not only possible but desirable — provided that impacts are measured, managed, and shared.

An Exceptional Jury for the First Edition

For this inaugural edition, we had the honor of bringing together an exceptional jury, composed of committed personalities recognized for their expertise in ecological transition, communication, and sustainable innovation:

  • Mylène Netange – Director of Produrable (AEF Group)
  • Fabrice Bonnifet – President of C3D and GenAct
  • Rose-May Lucotte – Co-founder of ChangeNOW
  • Maïka Nuti – Co-CEO of the Climate House
  • Pierre-Henri Guignard – Former Ambassador and Secretary General of COP21, author and speaker
  • Martine Robert – Journalist at Les Échos
  • Sophie Roosen – Brand & Impact Director, Union des Marques
  • Laurence Rousseau – Editorial Director, Meet In

Their combined expertise allowed for a rigorous and fair evaluation of the sector’s most ambitious, innovative, and inspiring initiatives.

As Sophie Roosen noted:

“These awards reflect a real dynamic. They show that impact can become a driver of performance, provided it is measured, managed, and shared.”

A conviction shared by the entire jury: the future of events will be sustainable, collaborative, and measurable.

2025 Winners

Personality of the Year (jury + public vote)
Recognizes leaders of change — Climeet’s “champions” within their organizations, who demonstrate that individual commitment can spark collective transformation.

Claire Schwartz (Châteauform’) – chosen from: Erika Louis-Roy (Stellantis), Yuriko Baba (Schneider Electric), Morgan Lavielle (Comexposium), Olivier Seguran (Moët Hennessy), and Thiago Araujo (BCD M&E).

Béatrice Eastham, CEO of Climeet, highlighted:

“Claire embodies commitment! She goes beyond Châteauform’s already high standards to drive change: LEAD certification, carbon measurement of events, clients engaged in action… over 40 events with carbon measurement. Discreet but highly effective, Claire truly deserves this award. She is a leader in responsible events.”

Honorary Trophy – Pioneer (by Climeet)
Festival de Cannes
Recognizes trailblazers who inspired the creation of Climeet and supported its early steps in the sector. A tribute to a long-standing client committed to responsible events.

“Possible Reduction” Category (jury vote)

Awards the most proactive and effective approach to drastically reducing an event’s emissions while maintaining original communication objectives.

Awarded for the originality and educational impact of the project. The balloon raises public awareness of air quality, using dry toilets and limited air conditioning in conference bubbles — a clear environmental commitment despite logistical constraints.

🥈 Inwink – Paris Event Forum
Displaying the carbon footprint of participants on badges raised awareness in real time. Exhibitor engagement and participant feedback reflected a sincere and educational approach.

🥇 Châteauform’ – Summer Party (internal event)
Successfully combined a festive celebration with environmental impact reduction and team and client awareness. The jury highlighted the emotional and joyful dimension, proving that low-carbon events can be festive, aesthetic, and meaningful.

An innovative approach for an audiovisual company, demonstrating it is possible to measure and reduce the carbon footprint of complex services.

🥈 Comexposium – Group Carbon Footprint Calculation Across Expanded Scope (full Scope 3)

A Groundbreaking Edition

The first edition of the Event Impact Awards confirmed what we observe every day: the sector is undergoing profound transformation. Transition is no longer optional — it is a shared dynamic, driven by strategic choices, solid measurement tools, and above all, a genuine will to act.

Awarded initiatives demonstrate that impact can be embedded at the heart of event design without sacrificing quality, creativity, or performance. They show that responsible events can be inspiring, effective, and meaningful.

By recognizing these pioneering efforts, the Event Impact Awards offer brands and agencies more than recognition: they provide a framework of excellence and a source of inspiration for those aiming to transform their practices.

This inaugural edition paves the way for an annual benchmark event, a reference for the sector’s transition, and a collective lever toward a more sustainable future.

At Climeet, we are proud to support this transition and stand alongside those who make it possible.

A huge thank-you to all participants, the jury, our partners, and Produrable for their trust.
